The primary purpose of the job position is to assist the Director of Nursing in managing the overall operation of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern this facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. |

| Requirements |
Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Professional Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the state.
?Minimal (2) years of previous long-term care experience.
?Must be able to relate positively to residents, families, and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with other associates at all levels.
?Must have experience in performance management and effective leadership.
?Must have the ability to complete multiple projects.
?Must possess basic computer skills, including e-mail use.
?Must be able to travel, including overnight stays.
?Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
?Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
