Clinical Informatics Director, RN
SUMMARY
Responsible for working collaboratively within Skilled Nursing Services to support implementation and execution of its strategic plan related to clinical informatics. Also facilitates excellence in person-centered care, including clinical process evaluation and transformation, development/ implementation of education programs to assure proficiency in clinician use of computer technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Vice President of Clinical Informatics for Skilled Nursing Services with development of strategies for successful clinical practices across Skilled Nursing Services.
- Demonstrates collaborative leadership and communication skills throughout the organization to maintain productive and accountable working relationships related to assigned projects.
- Assists the Vice President of Clinical Informatics for Skilled Nursing Services with planning, coordinating, leading, and maintaining accountability of the implementation of clinical informatics programs.
- Effectively delivers small group presentations, large group trainings, video presentations and other forms of education as needed.
- Maintains current knowledge on state and federal regulation and changes to requirements related to health information technology.
- Represents Skilled Nursing Services in a professional manner when working with collaborative work groups and project teams.
- Supports and facilitates project management utilization serving as project manager as needed.
- Maintains awareness of current changes in field of expertise, as well as to maintain professional licensure or certification status.
- Complies with Corporate Compliance Program.
- Complies with the Privacy and Security Programs
- Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.

| Requirements |
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master of Science in Nursing with focus in Informatics is required
- Current Active RN license in Georgia is required
- Board Certification in Nursing Informatics through ANCC is preferred
- Certified Professional Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) and Certified Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) are preferred
- Due to the nature of the role, strong home internet connection is required
