Administrator
Lead and direct the overall operation of the facility by resident needs, government regulations, and Company policies to maintain care for the residents while achieving the facility’s business objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree; two to four years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience as a nursing home administrator is preferred.
Must be a licensed nursing home administrator in good standing.

Requirements The administrator will report directly to the Regional Director or Vice President of Operations. The Regional Director delegates the administrative authority responsibility and accountability necessary for the assigned duties.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages five or more subordinate supervisors who supervise 50 or more employees in the Nursing Facility, Social Services, Dietary, Environmental, Activity, and Administration departments. Is responsible for these units' overall direction, coordination, and evaluation. Also, directly supervises one or more non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities by the company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Facility Management Functions
  •  Develop or expand programs or services for medical and vocational rehabilitation and community health and welfare promotion.
  • Negotiates for improvement of and additions to facility buildings and equipment.
  • Directs and coordinates medical, nursing, and administrative staff and services.
  •  Implements and communicates policies and procedures for various departments.
  • Conducts regular rounds to monitor the delivery of nursing care.
  • Works regular rounds to monitor the operation of support departments.
  • Works regular rounds to observe the cleanliness and appearance of the facility.
  • Works regular rounds to monitor resident needs are being addressed.
  • Ensure consultants and other support resources are appropriately utilized.
  • Administers fiscal operations such as budget planning, accounting, and financial review.
  • Ensures facility works within the planned budget.
  • Directs hiring and training of personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Represents establishment at community meetings and promotes programs through various news media.
  • Maintain a working knowledge and ensure compliance with all governmental regulations.
  • Maintains CES’s Quality Assurance standards.
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy for the facility.
