Stars in Long Term Care Recognized at GHCA Winter Convention

2026 Stars of Long Term Care Award Winners Announced

During the Stars in Long Term Care Awards Ceremony at the Winter Convention this week, we were thrilled to recognize the following outstanding award winners:

  • Leadership Excellence Award - Angela Watkins, Magnolia Manor
  • New Administrator of the Year - Kyle Fisette, Muscogee Manor & Rehabilitation Center
  • Administrator of the Year - Rachel Eggleston, Brown's Health & Rehab
  • Assisted Living Administrator of the Year - Lisa Ann Miner, Jewish HomeLife
  • Engineering and Environmental Services Champion - Brad Adams, Ridgecrest Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center
  • Emergency Preparedness Champion - Richard Capps, Bayview Nursing & Rehab
  • EDWCM Nurse Case Manager of the Year – Stephanie Milledge, PruittHealth Home First
  • EDWCM Social Service Case Manager of the Year – Susan Frischer, St. Joseph's/Candler SOURCE
  • EDWCM Support Staff of the Year – Jennifer Yansom, Next Step Care

Additionally, each award winner will receive a House Resolution sponsored by Chairman Matt Hatchett that reads,
"The hardworking individuals being recognized are involved in all different areas of long-term and post-acute care with one commonality: their commitment to elderly and disabled Georgias. These individuals make a difference in the lives of long term care residents and patients every single day. Through their care, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty, they help make Georgia a better place for seniors. These individuals possess the vast wisdom which only comes through experience and the strength of character which is achieved through overcoming the many challenges of life; and as kind and generous professionals, they bring joy and happiness to all who have the great pleasure of knowing them. It is abundantly fitting and proper that these outstanding individuals appropriately be honored for their many wonderful contributions on behalf of the seniors of this state.
