Patient-Centered Education Conference Grant
GHCA is pleased to partner with Georgia State University's Gerontology Institute and the Culture Change Network of Georgia to support a CMP funded grant that will allow 150 caregivers to attend the Eden Conference in May which will focus on the principles of person-centered care. The commitment to person-centered care is a universal need, regardless of provider type and Eden certification is not required.
Providers should have received an email from The Eden Alternative on March 27 with the following subject line - An Invitation: Grant-funded Education for Georgia Nursing Home Providers. Please take time to review the information included in the email and consider the value of the education to support development and competencies of your staff. As regulations and consumer expectations continue to rise, person-centered care is a clear strategy for customer satisfaction and quality outcomes. This education and training will assist providers to continue their journey to excellence.
