Based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, the AHCA/NCAL's National Quality Award Program challenges member providers to achieve performance excellence through three progressive levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold. At the Silver level, members develop and demonstrate effective approaches that help improve organizational performance and health care outcomes. 2019 recipients of the Silver award may now apply for the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award by further developing comprehensive strategies that meet the demands of the full Health Care Criteria for Performance Excellence. The 7 centers earning the award for 2019 bring the total number of active Silver Quality Award winning centers in Georgia to 44.
2019 recipients will be honored during AHCA/NCAL's 70th Convention & Expo, October 13-16, 2019 in Orlando, Florida.
