Patrelle Major Chosen as a Future Long Term and Post-Acute Care Leader
The Georgia Health Care Association/Georgia Center for Assisted Living (GHCA/GCAL) is thrilled to announce that Patrelle Major, Administrator of Southland Health & Rehabilitation in Peachtree City, has been chosen by the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) as a future leader in long term and post-acute care (LTPAC).
Patrelle will join AHCA/NCAL's Future Leaders program, a year-long program that offers training and guidance for LTPAC professionals.
“Patrelle's dedication to quality care and her strong leadership skills make her an excellent candidate for the program,” said GHCA/GCAL President & CEO Tony Marshall. “I look forward to watching her enhance these skills and apply them within GHCA/GCAL, AHCA/NCAL, and the long term care community.”
Since 2004, AHCA/NCAL has hosted LTPAC professionals in the Future Leaders program. Selected participants both demonstrate leadership potential and represent the interests of both state and national long term care providers.
Patrelle has served as an administrator since 2011. She is a 2017 graduate of the GHCA/GCAL Georgia Leader Certificate Program, a program designed to enhance the skills of participants to lead their centers to excellence and positively impact the LTPAC profession. She is active within her community, and currently serves as a Sub Committee Chair on the Fayette County Chamber Council.
Please join us in congratulating Patrelle!
