Happy NSNCW from GHCA President & CEO Tony Marshall

See below message from GHCA President & CEO Tony Marshall.

On the first day of National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW), I wanted to share a personal message to our members as you battle COVID-19 and make every effort to protect the frail and elderly individuals you serve. While I look forward to this week every year, this year's observance has taken on a whole new significance for me and the entire GHCA team.

On a regular day, we are immensely proud to represent such a caring, compassionate, and loving group of individuals. However, I can hardly put into words just how much you inspire us amid this global pandemic. Your bravery and selfless sacrifice in the face of some of the most uncertain and trying circumstances the profession has ever faced has been nothing short of heroic. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and let you know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. The GHCA team is here to support you, and will be spending the week singing your very well-deserved praises and showing our appreciation for all you do.

I know we will celebrate a little differently this year, but I do think it is important that we use this week as an opportunity to tell our story. I hope you will consider sharing your plans with GHCA. You can email photos, videos, and stories to GHCA Director of Communications Devon Barill at dbarill@ghca.info. We can't wait to hear the creative ways you will celebrate your residents and dedicated teams.

On behalf of your GHCA family, thank you and happy NSNCW.
